Arjun is a little over six weeks now, and its taken its own time to call him 'Arjun'. I mean, the way he looks right now, you're just so tempted to call him 'baby' all the time and can't really see him as a walking, talking, jumping boy with a proper name yet.
The last six weeks have been... rather nice, I think. Other than the c-section recovery pains and all of that, its been a sweet time getting to know each other, slowing down from pre-baby fast-paced life where deadlines were so important and work was on my mind all the time. We moon over him a lot. Tara always wants to cuddle him, and is really into him. She wants to help in all kinds of ways, is my little assistant who fetches nappies and sheets and eye drops and all kinds of things. I hope he's having fun with us. He does smile randomly quite a lot, sometimes it seems like its at us (but who knows, it could be the happiness of passing gas). And I swear he is beginning to copy us too. I and Tara are witness to how he stared at us sticking our tongue out at him and then did it himself! Unfortunately, he hasn't done it since even though we tried to get him to repeat it in front of a (disbelieving) audience.
Arjun, baby brother to Tara from the blogosphere gets his own blog and gives you a peep into his world (via Mommy).
